

As part of the State of Design festival 2010 we designed & made some bar seats using reclaimed material for a working licensed bar. The main material is sourced from timber off-cuts. The tops are finished with linseed oil putty and wax. Size 720h x 280 x 320.

[...] Offcut Stools, by designer Edward Moore, are bar stools made from bundling wood offcuts together. The tops are sanded level and finished with wood putty, linseed oil, & a wax sealant. The stools were shown at Raising the Bar as part of the State of Design festival. The show challenged 10 architects to use recycled materials to design components for a working licensed bar.
